New In-Water Mooring Station Protects Your Boat and The Environment!

Boat Bunkers® has created a new and patented in-water mooring station that protects your boat’s hull both above and below the waterline while it is moored at your dock or slip. The product is a floating mooring chamber that isolates water in contact with the boat’s hull from the surrounding water, which in turn eliminates bottom fouling.
Boat Bunkers in-water mooring station has a flotation collar that surrounds the hull of the boat above the water line, a water impervious undershield that surrounds the hull below the water and a gate system that provides easy access in and out of the mooring station.
The flotation collar is made with a rugged inflation tube and the structure resembles an inflatable boat. The collar acts as a bumper that protects the hull from floating debris and from coming into contact with the pier. The undershield creates an isolation chamber that your boat floats in while it is moored. By isolating the water in contact with the hull, there is no oxygen replenishment and no food source, which totally eliminates barnacles and other marine life.
Unlike conventional boatlifts and docking stations, Boat Bunkers in-water mooring stations are easy to install and can be used in virtually any mooring location. The hinged gate on the back of the station incorporates an air bladder that is used to raise and lower the gate. Open a valve and the gate drops down providing easy access in and out. Then raise the gate with a pump supplied with the mooring station. The floor of the mooring station is deep enough to accommodate out-drives and in-board boats as well as many sailboats.
When leaving your boat in the mooring station for a period of time, simply add an environmentally friendly water treatment agent that prevents algae and sediment discoloration. Like in a swimming pool, the water inside the mooring station becomes perfectly clear and the hull stays perfectly clean.
